Sweet Art - Event Management
Best known for its cakes, Sweet Art has left an indelible mark both in Australia and overseas as the leading light in creativity and style over the last 25 years. Owner Anthea Leonard began Sweet Art in Sydney in 1980 and made a name for herself creating edible sculptures. It was not till 1985 that Anthea began to put her talents to re-design the way traditional wedding cakes were assembled. Her signature designs still receive the great compliment of being copied throughout the industry. On the back of this success, Sweet Art has progressed into many diversified aspects of event management and now offers event styling, stationery design and flower arrangements.
In part, the reason why Sweet Art remains a leader in both cake and event styling is that Anthea and her teams approach the design process with artists eyes as well as of those of a stylist. The results are breathtaking; their eye for color and imagination creates events that blur the boundary between parties and stage production.
