More than Memories……

To me, weddings are a celebration of love, friendship and family. Personally for me, my wedding was not just any day, it was a day last year in April that I married my soul mate.  I had so much fun and the night came to a close before I realised. I treasure our photos and video, I’ve put many pictures up on display around the office, I have them on my phone and my ipad….so anywhere and anytime I can re live that day.

Getting the photography right was imperative, not just because I am a photographer but because I know as each year passes they will mean more to me every day and will always be more than memories.

Being a photojournalist was fantastic, it took me to places and introduced me to people like Bill Clinton, Prince Charles among others. Eventually over time grew tired of Press and wanted something different, something honest, something genuine. … weddings was just the right fit for me.  Now 20 odd years on I still love weddings, I enjoy capturing the little moments between a couple or the parents or even grandparents. Being unobtrusive is my goal, I feel people are their most relaxed when hardly notice that you’re there.
